The multi-functional POS printer TM-J7700 was designed for maximum performance with minimal operating costs. It uses inkjet technology to print receipts, forms, and coupons with crisp, consistent results.
Inkjet technology means that printouts are not only more detailed (600 dpi compared to 180 dpi for its predecessor) – these devices are also about twice as fast, with a print speed of up to 100 mm/s compared to 43 mm/s for previous models.
The new ink cartridges are easy to install thanks to their design, even in the hectic daily business. The ink used offers better water and light resistance than with a dot matrix printer – so receipts and documents last longer. In addition, the easy-to-insert paper rolls enable quick changes at the counter.
Epson has succeeded in integrating the latest inkjet technology into this new model while keeping the total cost of ownership as low as that of the previous model.
Upgrading from existing models is incredibly easy, as the TM-J7700 is fully backwards compatible with the TM-J7500 and has the same footprint. Replacement is therefore hassle-free. The built-in USB and Ethernet interfaces ensure seamless integration into current POS systems and modern ePOS applications.
