The PowerScan family of barcode readers are the ultimate industrial handheld scanners, designed and engineered to withstand the toughest environmental conditions. The PowerScan PM9600 imagers feature an ultra-rugged design, an ergonomic shape with balanced weight to reduce operator fatigue during daily activities, and an intuitive aiming system that enables the highest first-pass read rate while reducing unnatural wrist movements.
The PowerScan 9600 wireless model improves operator efficiency and safety with Datalogic's STAR wireless system. Accurate power management ensures long battery life to always provide more than one shift of intensive scanning. The PowerScan 9600 scanner is equipped with Datalogic's wireless charging system. Based on inductive charging technology, Datalogic's wireless charging system eliminates battery contacts and pins, which often get dirty, bend or break over time – thus eliminating a major point of failure for devices used in industrial and retail functions.
The BC9600 base/charger is modular and available with multiple interface plug-ins for standard and industrial communication, such as RS232, USB, standard Ethernet, and industrial Ethernet protocols.
