The Gryphon 4200 series represents Datalogic's premium range of general-purpose handheld scanners.
The Gryphon 4200 cordless model was specifically developed for people, featuring an elegant and trendy design, undisputed ergonomics, and excellent reading performance. The ability of the Gryphon I GD4200 readers to capture barcodes from near to far, read both high- and low-resolution codes, decode hard-to-read, poor, or damaged codes, and easily read barcodes from mobile devices makes these readers the perfect choice for applications of today and tomorrow.
With either Bluetooth® wireless technology (GBT models) or narrow-band radio communication with Datalogic's STAR Cordless System™ (GM models), the Gryphon 4200 cordless readers offer maximum flexibility to solve any end-user application with the best technical solution.
One of the most important technical innovations achieved by the Gryphon 4200 cordless scanners is battery charging via an inductive charging system, which increases the reliability of the entire solution and reduces the total cost of ownership, as cleaning and maintenance of contacts are no longer required. The maximum reliability offered by wireless charging technology means 24/7 operation without maintenance or repair downtime, and highest operational productivity and performance.
Gryphon 4200 cordless scanners use Datalogic's Motionix™ to automatically switch to readable scan mode and activate the distinctive soft-line aimer, which allows the operator to easily aim at the code to be read.
Datalogic's exclusive patented "Green Spot" for good-read feedback is ideal in low-light or noisy environments.
In most working environments, scanners need to be regularly cleaned and disinfected. The Gryphon 4200 series uses disinfectant-ready enclosures designed for regular daily cleaning with harsh disinfectant solutions commonly used in healthcare.
