The Gryphon™ 4500 series is the premium range in Datalogic's universal scanner segment. The new ergonomic design guarantees maximum user-friendliness. An innovative megapixel sensor with white illumination also ensures strong reading performance.
The Gryphon I GD4500 can be used as both a handheld and a presentation scanner. It is supported by Motionix™ technology, which automatically adjusts the appropriate scan mode based on the user's movements. This technology works both with and without a stand. Both the aiming device and the sensor can be programmed individually. The white illumination is more pleasant for the human eye and also increases reading performance for colored labels. The clearly visible 4-point aiming device defines a precise reading zone and reduces misreads, as the central crosshairs simplify the capture of multiple barcodes stacked one above the other.
The Gryphon I GD4500 is an omnidirectional imager that quickly and reliably captures 1D, 2D, postal, stacked, and composite codes such as PDF417, even from mobile devices. Special High Density (HD) models are available for capturing smaller, condensed codes. A version with red illumination has been developed for capturing digital watermarks. The improved optics also offer better motion tolerance and fast capture when codes are passed at high speed.
