The AS-7310 V2 from ARTDEV is the latest edition of the AS-7310 series of mobile barcode scanners and data collectors for inventory management.
It includes all the functions and features that already characterized the first series of the AS-7310. It is still possible to switch between barcode scanner and barcode collector operating modes. In addition, Bluetooth operation with internal Bluetooth modules or the optional Bluetooth USB stick is retained.
However, a whole range of functions have been improved. The display has been replaced by an OLED display with backlighting, which offers enormous improvements in readability and sharpness.
In addition to increased memory and an up-to-date Bluetooth module, the capacity of the integrated battery has been doubled. The new AS-7310 V2 thus achieves operating times of up to 19 hours with active Bluetooth and standby times of up to 7 days.
The USB port on the device has also been changed. Instead of the previous Mini USB port, a magnetic connection is now used, which means that damage to the device due to improper cable connection is a thing of the past.
A simple magnetic snap-in on the underside of the device is sufficient. If this is not practical enough, an optional charging station is available for the AS-7310 V2, into which the device can simply be placed for charging like a common mobile terminal.
Furthermore, the AS-7310 V2 offers excellent values in terms of operational reliability and robustness. The device still has fall protection for drops of up to 1.2m onto concrete, as well as protection against dust and splashing water at IP65 level.
