The Elo 2294L 22-inch open-frame touchscreen features a slim, narrow-bezel LCD display. Thanks to its technically pioneering LED backlight, it consumes less power and generates less heat. This compact, energy-efficient monitor is rigorously designed for touch operation with proven Elo technology and is characterized by high reliability. The 2294L therefore guarantees a stable, drift-free touch response and produces vibrant images. Its high-quality optics ensure excellent light transmission and image sharpness. The 2294L's display allows for a wide viewing angle and effectively captures the viewer's attention. It is suitable for kiosk applications, casinos and entertainment, as well as retail, self-service counters and industrial automation.
The touchscreen is sealed to protect against dust, dirt, and liquids, simplifying installation in enclosures and housings. Units with PCAP sensors can also be hermetically sealed to meet IP65 ingress protection requirements for the front. Since design and manufacturing are fully under Elo's control, long product and component availability is ensured. Due to backward compatibility, enclosure costs can often be saved as well.
A wide range of pioneering single-touch and multi-touch technologies are available here – including the proven IntelliTouch® SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) sensor technology for single-touch and dual-touch. Alternatively, our latest TouchPro™ PCAP (projected capacitive) sensor technology is available for multi-touch behind a double-glass array (2GS). It offers excellent interactivity for up to 10 simultaneous touches in a borderless zero-bezel display – similar to tablets. Since these touch technologies respond precisely even behind glass, operation with latex and fabric gloves is possible.
This Elo open-frame touchscreen, typical for Elo, guarantees superior quality and reliability – a claim underscored by our three-year standard warranty. Because touch design is envisioned from the very beginning of the design process, integrated products are created whose touch functionality and image quality are secured for a long time. By using our touchscreens with our software and drivers, a perfect ensemble is created, which is also subjected to our lifecycle tests as a combination. All our products undergo the toughest reliability tests (over 20 test series) to achieve an average reliability of 50,000 operating hours.
