The Elo 1717L standard format touch monitor is ideally suited for demanding public use thanks to its robust, touch-optimized design. With its features optimally designed for retail and its slim, modern design, it presents itself as an attractive solution for commercial touchscreen applications. The 1717L is ideally suited for POS, POI tasks, service counters, interactive presentation of media content, and customer loyalty systems. This touch monitor is lightweight and consumes less power thanks to its pioneering LED backlighting in the display, making it also environmentally friendly.
Four sensor technologies are available for this 17-inch touchscreen monitor. AccuTouch® with 5-wire resistive technology – widely used in retail and hospitality – is characterized by its imperviousness to liquids, food, and grease. AccuTouch® (5-wire resistive technology) and IntelliTouch® (SAW technology), as well as IntelliTouch in the frameless zero-bezel display, achieve excellent optical quality in dry retail and hospitality environments. For a tablet-like feel with 10-touch response, TouchPro® PCAP technology offers precise edge-to-edge glass arrangement – perfect for multi-user interaction. Another plus is the fast and extremely precise touch response – typical for this pioneering Elo technology.
A three-track magnetic stripe reader (MSR) is offered as an option for the 1717L, which can be programmed to either HID or keyboard emulation (USB only). It can be easily installed by the operator. Since no external brackets or attachments are necessary, the result is an elegant, integrated system.
The Elo 1717L offers various mounting options for maximum installation flexibility: wall and stand mounting using VESA standard brackets, as well as table stands for installation on counters and tables. Capped mounting holes in the touch monitor's base plate ensure theft protection for table installations.
